Dr Mark Livingstone has decades of experience in fertility care, and goes above and beyond in ensuring you understand exactly what’s happening and why. With this collaborative approach, you can be reassured that you are making fully informed decisions about your fertility.
Your first consultation with Mark will involve a review of any previous fertility test results, an examination of your general health and medical history, and a discussion about your experience of infertility so far. From there, Mark can order any additional tests that may be relevant to his management strategy.
If you haven’t already forwarded your GP referral, please remember to bring that on the day. It would be helpful to send in any test results or previous treatment details prior to your appointment as Mark will then be able to review these ahead of time, giving him more time to spend talking with you during your consultation.
We also encourage you to attend with your partner if you are looking to conceive as a couple.
Mark charges a single upfront fee, which enables him to provide comprehensive and personalised care.This covers pre-reading and preparation for your consult, telehealth calls, in-person consultations, and your treatment plan.
With an appropriate GP referral, Medicare will cover part of your consultation fees though there will be a gap payment remaining. This fee is required to be paid in full on the day of your consultation.
The costs of your fertility testing and treatment will vary depending on which approach Mark determines will maximise your chances of a successful pregnancy. These fees can be found here and will be discussed with you before you commit to treatment. Some private health insurers may contribute to your treatment costs; please confirm your level of cover directly with your provider.
